Erasmus School of Law scores well in International Student Barometer
Erasmus School of Law has achieved a high overall satisfaction appraisal from its international students in the 2011 International Student Barometer (ISB)
Specific areas of strength revealed in the survey included:
- Quality of Lectures
- Course Organisation,
- Good Teachers,
- Academics English,
- Multiculturalism and the
- International Office
In these areas ESL scored significantly higher than the ISB average nationally and internationally! In total 65 (inter)national universities participated in the worldwide benchmark (ISB – Exit Wave Summer 2011)
Campus under Construction
In 2013, Erasmus University Rotterdam will have been founded 100 years ago. In its Centenary Year, the university will boast a campus of international standing with a pleasant working and learning environment.
A large part of the university’s housing plans will have been realized by 2013: clear new infrastructure connecting the urban half of campus to the park-like half; two new main entrances; a vibrant new campus heart on Erasmus Plaza, with its semi-sunken car park and atmospheric Student Pavilion. Last but not least, more student accommodation: the U-building. Please click here for more information about our new campus.
International Alumni Barometer results
Earlier this year a survey was conducted under alumni who studied in the Netherlands (and under alumni who studied in the UK). In total 112 Erasmus School of Law alumni participated in this survey and we would very much like to thank you for that!
In general we can say that Erasmus Alumni are positive about their experience. Their Erasmus degree pays of in both career and financial terms. They are proud to be an Erasmus alumnus and they would actively encourage people to apply. ESL alumni even score 2nd place for all EUR faculties regarding "income".
We were also very to read that many of you would like to visit the Netherlands again for holiday/leisure... of course you are more than welcome to visit EUR/ESL when you do!
If you have any suggestions of how we can further improve our alumni services, please let us know (development@law.eur.nl)
