Tuition fees - Living Costs

Exchange students continue to pay tuition to their home university.

Living costs are approximately € 900/month. Please also see living costs for more information.

Visa

Erasmus School of Law will initiate the short procedure for those students who come from visa required countries. Please click here for visa procedure information.

Housing

Erasmus University Rotterdam has outsourced the temporary housing to Short Stay. Short Stay is a department of housing corporation “Stadswonen” and is specialized in letting furnished rooms and apartments. After you have been admitted, you will receive information on how to apply. If you prefer, you may also arrange housing yourself. Click here for more information about Housing

Residence permit

All non EU/EEA citizens who are staying longer than 3 months will need to apply for a residence permit within 3 days upon arrival in Rotterdam. The Erasmus Student Service Centre (ESSC) will arrange the application for you. Further instructions will follow at the start of the semester. Please click Residence Permit for more information

Intensive Dutch Summer Course

These so-called ‘crash-courses’ will take place in the beginning of August. In a period of three weeks you can improve your language proficiency with two levels: Intensive Dutch Summer Course
