| There are certain practical matters that need to be arranged in preparation of your upcoming stay in Rotterdam. And as some procedures take up a lot of time, we advise you not to wait! This page also provides important information about practical matters after your arrival. BEFORE ARRIVAL
Scholarships | After you have been (provisionally) admitted, you have to use your (provisional) admission letter to apply for a scholarship.For information about scholarships, please click here: Scholarships | |||||||||||||||
Tuition fees - Living Costs |
Exchange students continue to pay tuition to their home university. Living costs are approximately € 900/month. Please also see living costs for more information. *Please also see terminology. Tuition fees are subject to change. | |||||||||||||||
Visa | Erasmus School of Law will initiate the short procedure for those students who come from visa required countries. Please click here for visa procedure information. | |||||||||||||||
Housing | Erasmus University Rotterdam has outsourced the temporary housing to Short Stay. Short Stay is a department of housing corporation “Stadswonen” and is specialized in letting furnished rooms and apartments. AFTER ARRIVAL
Residence permit | All non EU/EEA citizens who are staying longer than 3 months will need to apply for a residence permit within 3 days upon arrival in Rotterdam. The Erasmus Student Service Centre (ESSC) will arrange the application for you. Further instructions will follow at the start of the semester. Please click Residence Permit for more information |

Introduction period | In order to introduce you to our campus, your fellow students, Rotterdam, Erasmus University Rotterdam organises many activities to make it easier for you to adjust to your new surroundings.
