News & Agenda (deadlines & events)

News
The subsidy programme Free Competition is closed for applications. The ESL has submitted 11 applications (main applicants are Professors Assink, Van Sonderen, Taekema, Timmerman, Vletter-van Dort, Hey, Faure, Van Marle, Van Swaaningen and Dr J.V.A.G. Piret and Dr Y. Li) . In principle, from the receipt of submissions, the entire NWO assessment procedure takes 36 weeks, dating from 7 October 2010.

Many thanks to Professors Van der Burg and Taekema for conducting an excellent workshop on Tips & Tricks and to the internal referees for their time and expertise in reviewing the proposals.

Beginning from 2011, NWO MaGW will introduce two new subsidyinstruments instead of the subsidy programme Free Competition: Topsubsidie for research groups, deadline 7 April 2011 and Research talent for promotion research, deadline 19 September 2011. More information on these subsidies will soon be available.
